What an amazing weekend!!!!
This past weekend I had the most incredible time. I had the awesome privilege of being on staff at Debbie Allen and Patricia Drain’s Maximizing Success Wealth-Building Boot Camp II, with another amazing collection of world-class speakers presenting on building wealth and success, in Phoenix, Arizona. What an amazing event. Three full days of non-stop, action packed, mind-blowing, information-laden presentations by some of the top speakers in the industry. In addition to Debbie Allen and Patricia Drain, the hosts for the event, the line-up of speakers included James Malinchak, Tom Antion, Adam Ginsberg, Paul Scheele, Chet Holmes, Mitch Carson, Paul Hartunian, Alex Mandossian, Keith Froehling, John Di Lemmi, Joel Bauer, and Loral Langemeier .

This amazing array of speakers each shared their own, proven and time-tested secrets, techniques and expertise on topics such as “Savvy Marketing Secrets for Adding an Extra $100,000 to $1,000,000+ a year to your Business,” “How to Get $1 Million in Publicity – Free!,” “Zero to $100 Million: Secrets of The Most Effective Entrepreneurs,” “How to Build an Online Business that Makes You Rich,” and so much more. There were two early morning breakout sessions available on both Saturday and Sunday morning. Saturday’s breakout sessions included Debbie Allen, Patricia Drain and Teri Romine or Steven E. Sunday’s choice of breakouts were with June Cline or Dave Sherman. Tough choices!!!
But don’t worry … if you missed this one, you’re in luck; Maximizing Success will be hosting another five-star-event March 24-26, 2006 at the Airport Marriott Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. So start planning now! Debbie and Patricia have already started planning this amazing event with presentations from experts like Jack Canfield, co-creator and author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and bestselling author of the Success Principals, and Graham Stedman, author of You Can Make it Happen: A Nine-Step Plan For Success. You can get a sneak peak at the upcoming event by visiting the Maximizing Success website.
All I can say is “thank you, thank you, thank you” to Debbie and Patricia and all of the fabulous speakers for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing event!!! It was so much fun, and I learned sooooo very much. Now it’s back to work, and time to implement, and put into practice, the wealth of information I took away from this event.
What a weekend!!!!
Virtually yours,
Terry

The formula for success – Have a passion for what you speak on. Master your delivery. And be very persistent about what you need to do to be a sought after speaker who is asked to come back again and again!
1. To begin – Practice the four D’s: Drop, Delay, Delegate, and Do! Make the space for taking the steps needed to pursue your speaking career.
2. Acknowledge and utilize your prime time (Chronobiology). Use your peak working hours to develop and collect your material, listen to tapes, hear other speakers, view videos, etc.
3. Visualize your speech and break through your nervousness. See it. Feel it. Allow it to happen.
4. Get away from “woulda, coulda, shoulda” thinking. Don’t wait for the perfect time – just DO IT!! Remember: There is no right time to begin your speaking career.
5. Take one step at a time – the first step is the hardest. Then – do what is needed to package yourself and improve your delivery constantly.
6. Set time limits – you don’t have to do it all in one month…or even one year.

Cruisin’ Through Life™ At 35 MPH
Cruisin’ Through Life™ At 35 MPH

Life is a journey…enjoy the ride! This exciting concept invites us to discover and maximize our own personal potential. Our professional and personal lives are like vehicles, and we are the engines that keep them running smoothly. When our internal gas tank is “full” we feel good about ourselves. Having higher self-esteem enables us to get over life’s little potholes and speed bumps. Learning how to take the driver’s seat of life will allow our roads to be paved with opportunity.
Let’s examine how to “set the pace.” Imagine yourself driving down the highway at a speed of 85 mph. Everyone around you is traveling the same speed. Traffic seems to be staying together, flowing quickly as one big happy family. You look to your left, and then right…all of a sudden…brake lights and screeching tires and everyone slows down to 65 mph. You can only guess what has happened. A police car is out in front of the pack driving 68 mph and everyone behind it is traveling at 65 mph! Perhaps troopers and other law enforcement officers enjoy this part of their job most. Are they possibly thinking, “Look at those turkeys behind me, let me have a little fun with them today.” They slowly speed up to 70 mph and what do we do? We speed up to 67 mph. They go 75 mph, we go 72 mph, they slow down to 65 mph and we slow down to 62 mph. The bottom line is, the officers on our highways set the pace.

A few years ago, I did something that radically boosted my
business and pushed it right into the six figures … and it
helped get my name out there like crazy.
I created a licensing program of a seminar I created that bore
the name of my book – the How Much Joy Can You Stand workshop.
Since then, I’ve built an entire business on the strength of
this licensing work, and I urge you to do the same.
While it seems complicated to set up a licensing program, it
doesn’t have to be. Really, it’s more of a creative challenge as
you make choices that shape your training program to suit your
purpose, style and goals.
Here are my Top Ten Reasons to set up a licensing program.

Top 10 Marketing Tips
Time and time again I hear people complaining that they don’t have any clients, nobody ever visits their website, or nobody ever buys their products. My first question back to them is, “What are you doing to market your business?” Most of the time, they can’t really give me a definitive answer, because (like so many of us) they don’t really know how to effectively market their businesses. Marketing is such a crucial element in a successful business – no marketing, no clients!
The following article was written by marketing maven, Denise Michaels. She is the author of a wonderful book, “Testosterone-Free Marketing: The Yin and Yang of Marketing for Women,” and founder of www.MarketingForHer.com. Denise also moderates The TFM Network on Ryze. Here are Denise’s top 10 marketing tips.

1. Know Your Market
Many entrepreneurs have no clue who their customers are and why they really buy their product. If you say, “Everyone is my market,” that honestly means no one is your market. The more specific you get about the kind of person who buys your products or services – the more you can zero in on the perfect message and venue for that message that will make those people stand up and take notice.
