I’ve decided to try something new here, and start getting my newsletter out on a regular basis again. Yep … I really am. I know, I know … I keep coming back and saying that it’s been such a long time since my last issue, but I really do know how important it is to be consistent with both blog posts and sending out a newsletter, and while I’ve been so much more consistent with my blog posts, it hasn’t been the same with my newsletter. So … my pledge to you (here I am putting myself on the spot and making myself accountable to all of you) is to start sending Speak Up & Make Money out every other month again. That said …

As every business should, Fastype has been going through a lot of changes in light of the services we offer. While we still handle many of the core administrative support services we always have for our clients, we’re seeing a huge rise in requests for things that are more marketing-related. We’re working with more and more clients to provide social media marketing, custom blogs (WordPress) and membership sites. One of my personal favorites has been setting up membership sites with WishList Member. In July I had the privilege of attending WishList Live in Buffalo. What a dynamic weekend … the founders of WishList Products, Stu McLaren and Tracy Childers, not only took us through the complete process of setting up a membership site from start to finish, they revealed lots of tricks and tips and a boatload of fabulous plugins we can use to trick out any membership site!! I have to admit though … one of the highlights of the weekend was playing Wii Tennis and bowling with the group (LOL). Here’s a group photo we took at the end of the weekend! My other personal favorite software is Infusionsoft … truly a CRM that is an all in one system.
