Thanks for all you do …
Here is a video montage of just a few of the people that rock in my business world …
(This was my first attempt at a montage … hope you enjoy it!)
Tis’ the Season …

Happy Holidays!
The holiday season is upon us! Our household is excitedly anticipating celebrating Christmas with our friends and family, and looking forward to the new year ahead. It’s such a wonderful time to reflect on the past year – both personally and professionally … a time to be thankful for the many blessings we’ve received, a time to reflect on the many goals we set for the past year (those we met and those we didn’t quite reach) and set new goals for the year ahead. It’s a time to forgive ourselves (and most certainly others) for the mistakes we’ve made and forge on with the intent of making wiser and more thoughtful decisions, in both our personal and business lives.
I am so very thankful for so many people …
Our wonderful clients – without them we would have no business,
The fabulous Fastype team – they are the true backbone of our business,
All my VA friends and colleagues – for making me so very proud to be a Virtual Assistant …
and to all my Twitter and Facebook friends and everyone else that I’ve been so blessed to get to know this year. For all of you, I am truly grateful.
May all of you have a most blessed of all Holiday Season … and may 2010 exceed your wildest dreams for for abundantly blessed and prosperous lives and successful businesses!!
Warmest regards,

Some great new changes to 1ShoppingCart.com are here!!
As someone that uses 1ShoppingCart.com (or one of it’s private label companies) with many of our clients, I am very excited about the new changes they have made to their email marketing! Not only have they simplified the navigation for email marketing, but they have added some cool new stock templates to use for sending broadcasts and newsletters, as well as the ability to add your own custom HTML templates to the system.
But … by far, I have to say that I am most excited that we now have the ability to schedule broadcasts to go out at a specific time of day rather than having them go out right after midnight on the scheduled date. I’ve had many, many requests from clients to send broadcasts out a certain number of hours before an event, so this added feature that will certainly make my life easier.
Just take a look at the short video below that provides a quick overview of the features and how to use them.

Cool little programs … Post2Blog and Twitter?
This is an unusually random blog post for me, but I was looking around for cool programs and found Post2Blog, which is supposed to be cool little desktop program that allows you to post to your blog from your desktop, without having to log in to the blog itself. I have no idea it works or not … so I’m trying it now. I guess we’ll find out if it works or not!
Speaking of cool programs and applications, I finally got sucked into the twittering crowd, and even downloaded twhirl, another cool little program that allows you to send and receive tweets from your desktop. I’ve obviously got too much time on my hands … but apparently, so does everyone else, because it seems as if everyone I know is twittering
, and they are doing it all the time.
So here I am on a Saturday morning blogging and twittering and whatever other nonsense I can come up with.
Virtually yours,
Terry
Where oh where has Terry been?????
I know … it’s been a long, long time since I’ve posted anything here at Virtually This and That! And I apologize. No, I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth; I’ve been a bit ill the past month … the entire month in fact. But I’m back, and ready to get back on track with my regular Tuesday/Thursday postings of great articles and resources.
Thanks for your patience, and hope you’ll continue to hang out with us on a regular basis.
See ya Thursday!
Terry
