Wow! I don't know about you, but I am really ready
for Old Man Winter to tuck his tail between his legs and scurry away
into the sunset and leave us alone. Originally hailing from sunny
California, I thought I'd gotten use to the cold winters of the
mid-west, but this year has really been a doozy and is one of the
coldest and snowiest winters I've seen in a long, long time. But
February is almost over, and with March only a week or so away, we're
starting to enter the home stretch and despite the fact that our last
batch of snow still hasn't melted, I'm starting to believe Spring really
could be just around the corner ... at least I'm hoping!
I love Spring; especially early Spring, when you can
see the little green buds of the Crocus and Daffodils peaking up out of
the ground. And if you look closely enough, you can see tiny green
leaves popping out on the bare brown branches of the trees. Spring
always reminds me of "new beginnings" and "fresh starts" ... and is
always a very exciting time for me as I start thinking of all the
possibilities it brings both personally and for my business. I've
already started thinking about and implementing new things to infuse new
life into my business. What about you? What exciting new possibilities
do you see for your business on the horizon? Maybe you've thought about
sending out a monthly ezine, or if you already have one, now might be
the time to give it a fresh new look. Maybe it's time to get serious
about that membership site you keep thinking about, but just haven't
gotten around to setting up, or finally starting a blog. Whatever it is,
give us a call ... we can help.
Before I go, I want to share with
you a great new tool I've found - Dropbox! It's a secure, online storage
system that allows you to share files from computer to computer, with
friends, family, clients, you name it ... just by dragging and dropping
files into your dropbox. I guess I was a little slow catching on to this
one because it was recommended to me several times before I actually
broke down and tried it. No more struggling to send large files by email
- I love it! You can even use it as a backup storage system. Just
click here to try it out ...I really think you'll love it as much as
I do. And you know what? It's free!
I hope you enjoy this issue of Speak Up and Make
Money! Please let me know what you think, as well as what you like
and/or dislike about the ezine. Do you have an event coming up that
you'd like me to include in the next issue? Do you have a topic you'd
like more information about? And don’t forget … for more great articles
and information, visit my blog, Virtually This and That! at

To your success!

What Marketing Can Do For You
By Michele PW (Michele Pariza Wacek)
What Marketing Can Do For You (And No, the Answer Isn’t
Everything)
While marketing is as close to a magic button we have
(think the Staples Easy Button) to transforming your
business, it’s still not an actual magic button.
So I thought I would clear up some misconceptions about
marketing in this two-part series: What Marketing Can Do
For You and What Marketing Can’t Do For You. We’ll start
with the positive.
