Here are a few of my favorite resources:

"With a speaking business that runs completely on repeat
and referral business, and a growing information-products
business as well, it became obvious that we had more than we
could handle with our limited staff. We didn't really want
to add more employees - the time and expense or maintaining
payroll records - not to mention the cost of overhead (office
space, computers, etc.) - made this something we really wanted
to avoid. Terry has helped us handle the additional workload of
a growing business while still providing the high level of
quality and reliability we would expect from an on-site employee
...Oh, and did I mention all the positive comments we
get from our clients about Terry's performance? If your business
has outgrown your ability to manage it effectively, do yourself
a favor and call Terry Green. If you're lucky, she may still be
accepting new clients..."

Welcome
2010!
Well it's finally here ... 2010. I'm not trying to "date" myself, but I
remember watching movies when I was younger about the year 2010, and
they were all about building colonies on the moon and other planets
being taken over by alien robots and other far out Sci-Fi ideas. While
we may not have colonies on the moon or other planets, the Internet has
certainly changed our lives in ways that weren't even imagined 10 years
ago. Back when I was watching those movies about living on distant
planets, the idea of being able to conduct business all over the world
... without ever leaving my home sounded just as far fetched to me. Look
at Twitter. Business relationships are being formed and developed
24-hours-a-day, all over the world by something as simple as a program
that will allow you to send 140 character or less messages back and
forth via your computer or phone. It all started with a simple
question: "What are you doing?" Imagine that!
Entering a new decade and starting
a new year is so much more than thinking about old movies and silly
visions of what the future of the world will look like in another 10
years. It's about
envisioning our own futures; a time to get focused and set goals that
will help us achieve those visions we have for our lives and businesses.
It's time to take charge of our businesses and propel them in the
direction we want them to go. 2009 was a great year, but I'm looking
forward to an even better 2010. I met with 6 other like-minded business
women today to set goals for the new year. We opened a Skype chat and
also connected everyone with a Skype call to discuss setting boundaries
for our businesses and home life, and both long-term and short-term
goals for the year. We'll leave the chat window open in case
something comes up that we need help with, and will do a quick check-in
once a week to see how we're doing. Then, once a month we'll get
together for an hour and discuss what we've done and where we are in the
process of meeting our goals. I have a great vision of what I want for
my life and my company in the future, and have committed to setting
goals and being focused on what it takes to meet those goals. Do you
have a vision of your future? What are you going to do in 2010 to make
sure you get there?
