Here are few of my favorite resources:

I have found that many virtual assistants have inadequate skills or
professionalism to effectively work with professional businesspeople.
Terry is the exact opposite. Her professional background and experience
shine through in the quality of her work. She has an excellent work
ethic and is very conscientious about completing assignments on time
and up to my expectations. Terry has a "can do" attitude and the skills
to back it up. Although her level of expertise is already superior, she
is always striving to increase her knowledge and capabilities. I
recommend her to other business professionals without a moment's
hesitation."

By the time this lands in your
inbox, I'll be returning from
2007 Speaker Summit in Los Angeles. If you took advantage of Susan's
great 2-for-1 offer, I'll probably see you there. If not, then you'll
definitely want to be sure not to miss next year's Summit!
You might notice the new logo
we're sporting in the header of our ezine. And hopefully (fingers
crossed!), by the time you read this, our website will have a completely
new look. Connie
McVicker has been slaving away relentlessly with the new design so
it would be up and running in time for me to unveil it while in Los
Angeles.
I'm pleased to announce that we'll be adding podcasting and audio editing to our
list of services in
the very near future. As a speaker, podcasting should be right up there
at the top of your list of things to do.
Much like blogging or submitting articles to directories,
Podcasting is another great marketing tool. It’s a way to share your
knowledge and expertise, in order to gain clients, sell products and
increase brand awareness. Download our
Podcasting FAQ.

Are You Earning Top Dollar for Your Speeches?
By Bryan Caplovitz,
Founder and CEO of SpeakerMatch
Last week I attended an event where every speaker earned a minimum
of $50,000. A couple even earned over $250,000! And there were LOTS
of speakers. But the meeting organizer didn’t pay a single dime for
any of them.
How’d they do it? The easy answer is
that they were great pitchmen — and that’s somewhat true. They all
sold products at the back of the room. But that’s not really a fair
assessment. All of them are also great speakers. Every one of them
had a well-developed speech that was packed with great information.
They were captivating, motivational, entertaining, and most
importantly — they provided great content. Interestingly, not all of
them had great stage presence, and a couple of them really needed a
little work on their delivery.
What they had to offer was the one
thing that separates the top earners in the speaking profession
apart from everyone else — product! Whether you sell products at the
back of the room or not, your total sales of products and services
each year should far surpass your actual speaking fees. Don’t have a
book yet? Consider having someone transcribe an audio recording of
your speeches to get you started.
